OK, next game it's against a TV 930 goblin team. Does anyone disagree with my plan of sticking with 12 players in order only give away 1 bribe?

No, not at all.

I'd only go to 14 when you can still afford to replace a blitzer if he dies. I'd try to never go below that 80k bank!

Next question. If I receive I'll try to score fast unless he's smart and holding his weapons back in which case I'll stall best I can. What should I do if he oops to receive? Let him through to score fast and risk him stalling or go for a turnover asap?

I probably wouldn't let him through but defend as if against a conventional attack quite hard to make him have to take risks and, even better, try a TTM to score. To counter possible stalling I'd just try to blitz a special weapon or other gobbo with a storm vermin every turn that you can't get to the ball. Two assists gives you 3d and a good chance of removing one.

If you receive and he's got no special weapons on the pitch, I'd tie his trolls up with goblins, protect the ball with a full cage up his end of the pitch, and try to blitz a gobbo with a storm vermin every turn.

Protect your storm vermins, particularly!

Don't know if that's actually helpful advice, however.
