Given lack of responses/firm opinions, I assume we aren't playing the cup this week, and thus I'm up for a friendly this Sunday, with any of my teams. As mentioned elsewhere I'm unavailable the next 3 Sundays.

2-0 to the Humans at turn 10. 3 deaths so far between us.

As RL3 said at the end, it was a glorious victory for the Humans, 2-1, and 1-3 in deaths. Crikey.

First half we got a blitz, which messed things up somewhat and I ended up scoring.

Second half there was a fairly routine quick score with a couple more dodges than intended, and then an Undead score back, and then the Undead got a blitz, which had a very slim chance of ending in an Undead score, except a marked lineman intercepted the pass, and it ended.

Despite 4 deaths and 3 touchdowns the crowd only deigned to give it 13/20.

There have only ever been 2 BBDB-recorded matches with more than 2 deaths. One is It's A Sign vs The Smelly Vampires (with 1 Nurgle death & 2 thralls) and this one, with 4.

I'm surprised la can find any new recruits for his teams, given their short life expectancy.

Also, what the heck la, you and your stat increases....

Only two games have been rated 20/20, both involving the filthy Bowielves.

But I've been in the highest amount of 19/20 games, at 10! Yeah! Crowdpleasing expansive football!

It was an amusing, if strange game. After getting a Blitz, La came very close to scoring a touchdown on turn one! The Undead never got the ball more than a few squares from their own endzone all half, and La perma-nobbled the block-tackle-St 2 ghoul.

In the second period, the Undead mummies turned up and made up for a season's worth of lost time by marmalising La's linemen (Charlie Browntrout went from 2 SPP to 11 in one game). However, the Undead were defensively weak - La quickly rounded them and scored again. With the help of a 2-man advantage and the ogre double-skulling himself down the Undead finally looked good on the attack. But it was too late.

Well I haven't heard from Gandalf again yet either. So we can either just seed 6 based on the statistic, drop Gandalf too if he doesn't show up, or skip the cup.

I'm not sure if a cyanide cup works with only 6.
