FUMBBL

Postby Raveen » Wed Jun 29, 2016 10:44 pm

As those of you reading the pidbowl thread will have noticed, ice been playing on FUMBBL a bit.

The FUMBBL client is actually pretty nice once you get used to it and if anyone would like a game on it let me know and I'll talk you through it at some point.

Does it have a pause button?

La and I discovered last night that you can't pause a BB2 multiplayer game. Additionally, if you hit the conceded button the game immediately ends. No are you sure? Is this really what you want to do? Instaquit.

It doesn't have a pause function but the timer isn't the same as Cyanide. When the time runs out your opponent has the option to end your turn but no obligation.

Works well I think.

I believe previously you said you preferred the "shinyness" (or words to that effect) of the Cyanide game over FUMBBL. Has your experience with it changed your opinion?

I prefer the 3d and animations of the Cyanide version but there's undeniably also a lot wrong with it. FUMBBL is an interesting alternative.
