Post season-9 friendlies
So with no season 10 happening at the moment due to lack of demand, I figure we should keep things going with friendlies in the meantime. From speaking to RL3 and Abom there's definitely still a desire to play blood bowl, & to play with people we know rather than randoms.
Use this thread to organise friendlies and post match reports. Seems best to have them altogether in one dedicated thread.

I am generally up for a game most Sunday evenings.
Abom & I are scheduled for one on July 31st. I'm unavailable the week after.

Rav, are you free this Sunday, usual time?
Re: Post season-9 friendlies
I was thinking of setting up a new competition in BBDB, and call it "Season 9.5 friendlies" - as they are distinct from other friendlies & I thought it would be nice to be able to see stats specifically relating to this (hopefully) interim period.
Sounds OK to people? Or would you rather them lumped together with the other friendlies?

Same bat time same bat channel. Unless the kids are acting up...
Any preferred team to play against? I have dark elves, khemri, chaos dwarves, pro elves and Norse. Or I could roll up a new team.

Sure, a separate competition works fine.
And yeah Rav I'd be down to play. Pick whatever team you like... I will be bringing out the mighty, relentless Punch Dummies goblins.

Re: Post season-9 friendlies
My inclination is to play the Chaos Dwarves because I'd like to get a couple of dwarves levelled up. But this is a whole load of no fun for goblins so if you don't want to play them please do say.
Word of warning, my babies are teething (again) and haven't slept properly for what feels like ages. If they aren't a lot better on Saturday night then I'll cancel so that my wife doesn't have to lose her whole evening to looking after them. I'll let you know Sunday morning if we're on if that's OK?

Play whatever you'd like, gobbos are up to the slaughter... er... task.
No problem on the baby thing! I almost always check the forums at least an hour before a game.

Hi Abom, I'm not going to make it. We've split the babies up so they at least stop waking each other up so the spare room isn't spare any more and I can't get to the PC.

Good idea!
I cannot imagine bringing up twins.
Re: Post season-9 friendlies
It's just like trying to explain parenthood to someone without children. You can tell them stuff but you can never convey the whole massive hugeness of the experience.
Re: Post season-9 friendlies
I'm impressed you've kept up your interest/activity in BB as much as you have to be honest. I mean, we've had 2 lots of nappies to change these last 9 months, but that hardly counts.
Abom, re: Sunday, is it the Goblins again? You can see my teams on BBDB but I'm guessing you don't care as you didn't care which team Rav put out?

Yes, the reigning season 9.5 Punch "0-Win" Dummies champions shall strut their stuff this Sunday.

Re: Post season-9 friendlies
I can see that Gandalf and Abom are due to play a friendly this Sunday; would anyone else be free and fancy a game? Rav (youngsters permitting)?
If so, I'd quite like to start a new team (perhaps the recommended dwarfs), but am not averse to playing any of my existing teams if they're preferred.
