Nothing to look at yet so no idea how it will pan out. But the developer doesn't look to have too much experience in this sort of thing, so I'm not too hopeful....

The 40k universe is a fun place to visit as an omnipotent commander but I can't imagine if want to live there, not even virtually.

What'd be a fun and relatively easy game to develop as a 40K MMO would be something like Necromunda IMO.

This one sounds like Planetside 2, but with 40K characters/vehicles
