Re: Wizards!
Character sheets are updated except for Verincent's who still has to decide on his stuff.

Re: Wizards!
[ooc] I'm going to a tournament with the team I'm coaching. So I won't check the forums from Tuesday to Saturday. I appoint NJ to take over my character, if he doesn't mind.[/ooc]

Re: Wizards!
(Huh. I could've sworn I had already posted this, but my internet right now is solely reliant on wonky McDonalds Wifi, so apologies there)
I would like 3 points into Marble Staff and 1 point into Armor. Many thanks, fateful overlords.

Re: Wizards!
Verincent falls into a trance inside the coach and does not find occasions where foreigners were present in these particular festivities so he goes for the next best thing, which was the scenes of last festival.
He sees Yang, the city on the mountain *points vaguely* a literal city built on and around the mountain. The peasants on the ground are having a jolly good time feasting and dancing until night, during which they begin the procession up the mountain.
Continue watching? 0/3 turns left.
Meanwhile, Andronicus also falls into a trance of his own, going forward in time. He sees the current King of Yang, a man with two different coloured irises at the front of the procession which comes to a halt at the top of the mountain. There he steps forward alone. What is he waiting for?
You may examine 3 things in this scene. Go.

Apparently hairs from the dragon's mane fell off and landed in the village, and a race of men were sprang forth from the hairs
...
Apparently, the mane-men went on to become lords of the eastern kingdoms of Drakonia, the greatest one being the king of the mountain city of Yang *points vaguely* they are easily spotted by their strange eyes - one eye has a different colour than the other. There are not many mane-men left, apparently.

Re: Wizards!
Sure, give it all 3 turns.

						Re: Wizards!
Uther's getting a little bored at this time. Half the team have got a faraway distracted look in their eyes.
That normally doesn't happen until Uther has been complaining for at least a couple of hours.
He starts idly wondering what sort of refreshments are on this coach.... and asks politely around
{If he could see what was up ahead in the future, like say Andonicus, he might be worried about -like - Human Sacrifice altars of the top of hills and the like. And he'd surely look out for them.}

Re: Wizards!
What's the location they stopped at like?

						Re: Wizards!
People join the procession from crevices and finely crafted doors in parts of the mountains, each looking more wealthy than the next. After they reach a certain height what could only be the king and his retinue joins the procession from a set of massive gates.
They keep going, up and up the steps. Some natural, some cut from stone, until they reach the peak, which has been cut open and polished to a sheen. It is a massive circular enclosure akin to an altar.
(This is how it looks like in Andronicus' vision as well)
They wait in silence for some while. You soon notice the dragon banner which is similar to the one the dragon cultists weaved flapping in the air. You see dark clouds gathering. A storm is coming. A thunder claps in the distance, and another and...
Vision is up. If you want to maintain it the vision will cost you double each turn. Let me know so I can move this on.

Let's go fight some dragon boys! Or rather Flee from some dragon, maybe?

						Re: Wizards!
The convoy soon arrives at Yang, a truly imposing sight with its high walls and magnificent mountain. You are waved through the gate and into the city Verincent and Andronicus saw in their visions, taking the winding path up the mountain.
You soon arrive at the royal gates, where you are received by the selfsame matronly woman Uther has bewitched. She calls herself Ibun, and greets you warmly before making light conversation and asking whether the ride was enjoyable.
Over to you..

Re: Wizards!
I think we should all greet Ibun in turn, make her believe every thing that she forsaw-
And then pose an open question, such as "What's going on here?"

Re: Wizards!
Uther lays it on thick, thanking her for laying on such extravagant transport and honour guards (We are your honoured guests etc. etc.)
After the small talk is done...
"How are preparations going for the great event? (asked in an off hand way to avoid any suspicion)"
(I guess we should try to keep the small-talk going for a while, then if she's not giving us a grand tour of some sort make some sort of "Tired and Dusty" after the journey excuse and try and get away to explore without people on our back.)

Re: Wizards!
I make sure to mention that I'm nobility and generally help Uther in the hope that he doesn't totally cock it up.
