http://www.galciv3.com/store

$99 gets you a named star and alpha access. And according to here, that's expected in February. And yes, it will have multiplayer (Although lacking a lot of other things)

Story time

Stardock is about eight miles from my front door.  I was shopping at a local store purchasing a PC game after playing the living snot out of Gal Civ and deciding it was time for something new to cleanse my palette.  So while doing so I struck up a conversation with another shopper about games to buy.  I told him that there was one game I'd recommend and one I wouldn't recommend but switched the names giving Gal Civ a poor review meant for the other similar type of game.

Welp the gent started politely asking me questions and when I was describing the faults it was obviously not Gal Civ and he looked puzzled.  I picked up the box of for Gal Civ, saw th artword and went, oops got the name backwards this game is awesomesauce.  I then gushed about how much a liked it and why... turns out it was a developer with Stardock looking for voice of the customer reactions.  The sense of relief when I went from "its a pile of poop" to "I may actually be developing an addiction to it" was quite noticable:lol:
Disclaimer: I have commited to watching every episode of Doctor Who starting at the beginning. Please feel free to ccomment alongmy journey but please no spoilers of any kind and htis includes discussions of anything forward of where I am at that time. No writer X vs writer Z comparisons, no vague references to things to come, no wink nudge nudges even please. The request is if you are in doubt about if I have seen it yet than do not mention it please. Spoliers are really spolers for me and I hate to know what is about to happen. I will faithfully update where in the series I am and the goal is to watch the entire series before the New Year. *gulp* Oh boy About twenty hours a week is what a quick look online is telling me and quite alot of the dear Doctor no matter how much I may come to love the series. Man I hope I end up liking the darn thing... oh boy
