Last night the "organisations" module went live on the Star Citizen site.
I've created a "Rolling Thunder" organisation. My community monicker is "Fell" and my other name is "Red_Hunter". Account name "Fellentos".
Feel free to give me a holler online if you want to join up.
By the way, there's actually a 2nd "Rolling Thunder" organisation, type "Syndicate" with a skull. So don't apply for the wrong one.

Re: Star Citizen organisation "Rolling Thunder" created
You made it... in one Fell swoop?
Sorry, couldn't help myself. Account name is Andon_A, pilot is Andon, if you want to invite me.

My handle is Adept, and my unique identifier is Adept_Elite. Invite please

Re: Star Citizen organisation "Rolling Thunder" created
Invites send, and I saw Grav applied as well.
Re: Star Citizen organisation "Rolling Thunder" created
How come the org shows as Allegiance instead of Rolling Thunder? Should we change the straight thunderbolt for a thunderwheel?
I'd be interested to hear what ships if any you guys have pledged for. I have the 325a waiting for me.

Re: Star Citizen organisation "Rolling Thunder" created
Most the of the names were already taken, so I thought I choose "Allegiance" so other Alleg people might also find us. I can change the name of the squad but not the 2nd name, as it has to be unique.
You mean changing the member icon "thunderbolt"? Sure but I couldn't find a good thunderweel and I don't have the time yet to make a custom one myself.
Anyway I pledged for the "Hornet", and after a year upgraded it to a "Super Hornet" so potentially one of my buddies could fly with me and use the turret. I tend to go for a "Mercenary" role.

Ooooh, a super hornet. Nice one. Of course it's a pure space superiority fighter, so it's only combat missions for you. Maybe one of us will have a cargo hauler before long, so we can use the SH for escort. I hope the 325a will prove to be a worthy "gentleman's fighter craft" letting me do long range flying and fighting in style... and some light trading, of course.
Spyball has the 315p, so quite likely I'll need to upgrade mine with a jump engine and more efficient engine ASAP so I can join her in exploration flights.

I was thinking a little bigger
that is just 10 tons. If I'm escorting you in the 325a, I'm carrying 8 tons myself. Still, it's a start.

Re: Star Citizen organisation "Rolling Thunder" created
I thought your cargo was less than that.
Re: Star Citizen organisation "Rolling Thunder" created
Sure thing, I would think "Escort transport" missions would be the main type of mission for me.
I'd have a "Firefly" mindset to which missions I would take. Criminal as long as it's not about killing people.

I don't mind working gray when it's smuggling or such. I'm very much a white knight at heart when it comes to actual piracy, and I wouldn't want to kill any NPC police either if I can help it.
When a merchantman fires a distress beacon when under attack by pirates, I hope to be in position to get in there as reinforcements, and see how much havoc I can wreak in my Arbiter. If I can save the merchant, great. If the odds are too bad, I can still hurt the attackers with my missiles, and keep harassing them so they can't board the merchant in peace, and maybe buy time for reinforcements to arrive.
I hope to piss off a lot of pirates
