Okie doke then. If you CAN'T make it according to that schedule for any reason, please let us know here beforehand so people (like Rav) aren't sat around waiting for someone who isn't coming.

I've contacted Spins and he's up for a game on Sunday. Spectators are welcome of course.

Oh and btw, it would be nice if you could kick off to me and have the ball land somewhere other than on the Line of Scrimmage. I haven't had a backfield ball retrieval yet...

Yes I'm still on for this Sunda, and I should be able to manage your request as I gave one of my guys the Kick skill. :) If I get the same dice as my last game then I should be kicking off lots too.

It'll make a change from the 1-1 and 1-0 games I've had so far... ;)

GG Gandy, 3-1 is a pain but I got some skill ups so I'm blodging all over the place now ;) The match report is in the Witch Gate thread and stat wise I had slightly worse luck than Gandalf (25% of my d6 rolls were 1s as opposed to 20% of Gandalf's).

My first two touchdowns both had an element of luck in them - I think they both involved picking the ball up from in front of at least one of Rav's players, and chucking a pass downfield. I was very pleased to get the second TD just as the half ended as I was 3 players down and a lead of 2 felt a lot more defendable. Though Rav did help me with the second one as he never marked my guy who was lurking not far inside his half in range of the endzone.

After it was 2-1 I was just concentrating on keeping the ball. However despite being 3 men up Rav's marking wasn't great and I managed to take it from my endzone to 3 squares from his in one go. The elf who ended that move however stunned himself on the 2nd GFI. Then followed calamity as first my guy failed a 3+ dodge in 2 rolls, so I thought he was going to pass it up and score pretty quickly. However the very next turn his guy failed a 3+ pass in 2 rolls (!!!) This let my guy pick up the ball and throw it into open space, too far for any player to reach. That was until Rav pushed the guy who threw that ball a square closer, enabling him to run and "collect his own pass" before scoring with a 2xGFI.

Given some of my luck this tourney I'm very pleased to have 2 wins and 2 defeats at the end of my campaign. I'll refresh the front page.

Hope you have a good end-of-season weekend next weekend. If notj wins or draws, he takes the title. If he loses, he shares it with the winner of Rav-Idan (I'm assuming they will share the title and there is no tie-breaker??).

I got one promotion - I took Wrestle. Screw you guys and all your players with block :p I also bought another wardancer, however as my existing one got injured (and missed the next match) I won't really feel the benefit of that for 2 games.

Be aware that it's daylight savings change in the UK on Sunday. I'm not sure if that'll be the same for you Idan but can we set the game time to be 20:00 GMT (eg, 8PM uk time)

We shifted our clock last night. So I think it will probably be the same.

Cool, I figured that you changed at pretty much the same time because it's never come up before but I figured it was worth checking. Looking forward to the game!
