House Rules

Rolling Thunder Blood Bowl House Rules

1) Friendly resign - may be proposed in the following situations...
a) After a touchdown or half time, or
b) At any time, if it is for real life reasons (the RT member has to go and deal with some RL issue).
The other player is encouraged to accept the resign request if it is for good reason, eg not fun anymore due to excessive injuries, huge scoreline already, thinks will lose & would rather start a new game rather than continuing current one etc.
The resign is enacted by both players clicking end turn repeatedly without performing any actions. Alternatively if the players think it is fair that the result should be different than the current one (as may be the case in scenario b)) then they should move players out of the way as appropriate in order for the match to end with the agreed-upon result.

The advantage of a friendly resign over an actual in-game one is that both teams will still get some money from it and the winning team will not get two MVP awards. Neither of these consequences are particularly in line with RT's values of fair play.

Reason: Removed Turn 16 fouls as it was rejected in discussion

I'll add more to the opening post if/when we think of any.

If you think the above needs tweaking in any way then say so here. However we're not a bunch of forum lawyers so I don't think it needs to be word-perfect.

Proposed rule (and common if not standard BB ettiquet) because it came up in Rav vs Spinx:

No turn 16 fouls. As you get no SPPs for fouling there is no gain to be had from fouling on the last turn of the game. Therefore no fouls should be made. (note, this only applies to the very last turn, if your opponent still has his turn 16 to play then fouling may be justified to stop a potential scorer from getting up, picking up a loose ball and passing/scoring).

It's a league... If I can foul your star player, I don't think it will be unfair.
Especially if I'm winning the game.
Ints kill nans, probes kill bombers.
