RT Cup Pre-season 2 thread

Postby Gandalf » Sun Mar 30, 2014 10:11 pm

I presume we're all up for a Season 2 of this? :)

It might be nice to have a bit of a break. There's Easter etc. coming up too. So I don't know when a good start date would be. (For me - I'm busy 27th April but that's it for the next 6 weeks)

It would also be nice to have a few more players of possible! :) I have a friend who may be interested. He thinks his availability might be too bad to bother but I will ask him & point out that 50% attendance is fine, so long as we let people know in advance. He has 2 kids but since currently the majority of our league has kids I don't see it as a particular issue. :)

Any other RT's want to join up for this season and think they can make 50%-ish of Sundays?

Would someone please pick a number between 1 and 38 inclusive to decide what race my new team will be or if the Witch Gate Wanderers will return for a second season.

I asked Excel and it said 27.78092762.

Probably best to round it up to 28.

My wood elves will definately be coming back, now I've finally bought my 2nd wardancer. :)

Does anyone else have anything to say regarding season 2?

The Dark Elves are returning! (50% chance in case you were wondering). Neat, now I can enjoy that Witch Elf (not like that you filthy filthy people).

Roll on the grudge match!

Nice league guys, and congrats to NJ! I hope this continues in an equally entertaining manner.

Yes... most games are  :(  I suspect I still can't find the time, which sucks.

90 minutes a fortnight is all we ask sir.

Tell you what, as nj is starting a fresh team why not play a preseason game against his new team and see how it goes? That way nj gets the chance to get some SPPs and you get to see how the 2 minute turns play out.

How about it gents?

I'd be up for that at some point.

I foolishly asked my wife to pick the race for the next season, she looked through all the pictures and She Picked Lizardmen or Goblins.

Probably gonna be lizardmen I guess, but Goblin Hilarity has a certain appeal.

I've played a few online games with the Elves.

I like what I see so far... I'm thinking of starting with a new elf team.

Threads mashed together & merged :p Discussing Season 2 in the season 1 thread? No sir!!

The thing about Idan didn't go for an elf team is we will then possibly have 4 out of 6 teams being elves... might be a bit samey.

I think I'll only do one more season as Dark Elves so we can switch round a bit then. I'm amazed that nobody has suggested elves to you before idan, your play style is totally elf compatible.
