I'm thinking of putting together a web app to frequently grab stats for us LoL players. Very much in the idea stage at the moment, but I've found they have an API so it's possible to get the details, & store in a database.
Would you use this? What stats would you like to show?
Stats website
Re: Stats website
I dont think that is very useful until we have our own ranked team ... There we could collect stats of players and their champ scores. So we can see which champions which players are picking and how succesful they are...

"Until"
How many people are missing? I may not play anymore, but if it meant getting a decent ranked team with regular games I'd train myself back up to at least platin levels for it

Re: Stats website
I'd love playing with you guys, but I'm not good enough... If you'll have me as a 3rd sub or something that would be ok with me. :-)
Ints kill nans, probes kill bombers.

Re: Stats website
Idan & myself are silver level players (even though he's in Bronze at the moment).
With Fazz & yourself, I think we are one short.
I did enjoy our brief foray into ranked games last time & would be up for it again for sure.
I'm still working on the stats thing, the first basic idea is to create something that will store all the details of all our matches; I can figure out what to do with all the data later.

Re: Stats website
Maybe we could ask Hsharp and Koln to join us ?
Re: Stats website
I have successfully set up something to grab the stats of all the games we play & store them. There are 9 summoners being tracked at the moment, but it can go up to 40.
There's a few more things it keeps track of besides what you see on the post-match screen, such as....
true damage dealt/received
wards purchased
wards placed
turrets killed
barracks killed (which I guess means inhibitors)
"total time crowd control dealt"
jungle monsters killed in the enemy jungle
I'll come back to this probably in a few weeks and start displaying the stats somehow & give you a url.

Re: Stats website
I've put together an "activity monitor" so you can see how much you've played recently. I think that will do for now.
Unfortunately the data feeds are a bit unreliable at the moment - it can take 12+ hours for your games to come through.

Re: Stats website
The activity monitor is now up to date - riot have *finally* fixed the delay in the data stream.

I know you are talking "us specific", but somehow using the info from this website might be useful too?

Firstly, my understanding is the way lolking gets their data is not one Riot approve of.
Secondly, the T&C's for using Riot's API forbid you to get information from other sources like this.
But thirdly - I am capturing almost all (if not all) of the data from that page anyway direct from Riot.
I just haven't done anything with those stats yet, beyond the "activity" page I linked to above. The main difference between lolking & me is I am storing all of the information for the old games whereas they are just showing the last few games. So I should be able to present a wider range of aggregated statistics.

I have now added a page detailing everyone's match history with a few basic stats from each, also there is a link for each match through to riot's new match history website.
Next up, some fun summary stats pages. For example, Idanmel has placed 1,909 wards and earnt 2.94 million gold in the games I have recorded.

Re: Stats website
I had an urge to code this weekend so I've added a bit more now. Also there's a decent amount of information that has been collected in the intervening months, which makes this more worthwhile.
Each summoner has their own page, with links to their profiles on other websites (like lolking), and some summary info per game mode showing total kills, deaths, assists, wins, losses, creep score (broken down into lane/your jungle/their jungle) and wards placed/killed.
There are a few more stats I could add in.
Next up will be stats by position and maybe some champion pages (who plays Rammus the most? etc.). Any more suggestions are welcome.
