I'm hoping that me being in the minority suffering heavy crashing will have helped fix the issue for people coming later. 15k people in Premium Beta now. That is 3k more people buying in a the 100£ level in the last... 3 weeks or so. And I don't blame them! I'm now actually utterly convinced that Elite will astonish even us who have seen the stellar work so far. I think it will be the game of the decade, and a watermark that will be remembered for a long time to come.

Btw id3nt1ty, did you notice that Cobra mk III and bigger ships will have multiple shield segments. I've been waiting for that. Only problem is, where will we find a free hat for shunting that shield energy to the damaged side quickly?!?

Also, did you notice the Peek of the Week? Yummy! I think it could be the Adder, a small trade-focused ship.

I didn't know that the Cobra Mk III would have shield segments, but I had read that they would be available on some ships. I better get this head tracker working so I can free up my HUD panel hat. That or check out Voice Attack and use voice commands.

hmm, I think you just gave me an idea. When head look is on, I'll use the joystick hat to look around. When it's off, I'll use the hat to shunt shields about. Could work.

Still didn't check out what Artermis actually is... but I will.

I found an epic screenshot of the Orbis with good lighting. Remember to zoom in and ogle at the green parks in the habitat section (I think the apartments and offices are undrneath, with the park on top for recreation and oxygen / CO2 recycling.

Incorrect - Premium Beta closes 15th, but lifetime expansions pass (£35) available until 29th (according to Adept's own link).

So Rav you have a bit more time to not afford it!

Also judging my money spent on computer-based things I always thought of Adept as having more disposable income than Rav.
