3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
Ivanhoe gives Uther a look, considers it briefly, and then shrugs, ordering the other Cactus Warriors to form up in a box around Uther before kicking down the door and charging forward!
The heavy oaken door flew straight into a goblin, squashing it messily. Ivanhoe was upon the others in an instant, slashing down one before spinning his sword into a brutal downward slash to destroy the other. The Wizards pile in to find a blood mess, and a small elven child weeping in a corner.
"They took mother! Help!"
Sylvos pushed the others aside to attend to the child.
"Young master! Where are your parents? Where is the duke and duchess?"
After several tense minutes of trying to understand the child's sobbing, you now know that the duke, ruler of the Undercity, was off fending off the goblins when they broke through, and the duchess, the young lord's - for lord he was - mother was taken away just before you arrived.
Three paths lie before you. Sylvos intends to press on with or without you to find the duchess, who he expects will be taken to the grand amphitheater to be mass-executed with all the other elf-women. He has enough knowledge on the path the goblins will take to ambush them.
On the other hand, the duke must also be found - but you have no idea if he's even alive. He was last seen near the inner gates, which by now should be choked with goblins. The young master, Calaglin Talagorm may be what remains of the House of Talagorm, and will need to be evacuated..
You may separate the party to cover more ground, but your choices are:
1. Pursue the goblins who abducted the duchess.
2. Push through the thick of the fighting to find the duke.
3. Evacuate the young lord Talagorm. Nothing else can be saved here.

Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
Folst attends to any wounds the child has received and also attempts to instill a sense of calm onto the child.
"I do not think we should abandon the Duke and Duchess, but what will we do with the child? We cannot leave him here."

Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
Guys, it's clear if powerful elves can't hold off the Goblin hoard little old us have not much chance on our own.
I'm sure we will be well rewarded for bringing back this Noble Prince.
Let's take him back and let the Elves decide what to do about this place, that has clearly fallen into darkness.

Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
There's a damsel in distress here, we have a duty to do our best to at least investigate if she and her husband can be rescued. I suggest Uther go and investigate what happened to the Duke, his natural cowardice should mean that he does a good job of not getting seen. I'll go with the Cactus Warriors and any other volunteers to pursue the goblins taking the Duchess.
Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
Perhaps someone should stay here to defend our escape? Or station some Cactus Warriors here with the little Lord and I will accompany you Fenlander...
Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
There's a better solution.
The Duchess was taken just before we arrived. I can cast Backstep to bring the whole room back an hour - This would place the Duchess and the young lord in the room at the same spot. We would then have to fend off the goblins that were in the room, but then we wouldn't have to go hunt and find her.
After that we could go find the Duke, or what remains of him, and perhaps use what forces he has to aid us in saving the other elven women.

This is why he's Andronicus the Wise, folks. If you're going with this, I suggest you prepare yourselves accordingly.

Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
Is still say we should send Uther of on a recon mission to find the duke. Beyond that it's weapons out and get ready for kicking.
Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
Everyone looks around for Uther but can't find him, he seems to have slipped away somewhere
No-one notices the extra piece of Wooden Furniture in the room, in the corner, a rather fine mahogany hatstand.
(Note it's the first time Uther's used this power around the other wizards so I don't know if they know about it :0 )

Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
Shield on. Equip silver dagger for dual wield.
Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
I'll equip Horus' Shield and Dagger of Time and Space. There probably won't be room for teleporting with the Faerie Staff and outright attack power seems less effective than a certain attack with goblins...
Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
Folst readies his bow, whilst muttering that he knew a dagger would have been useful...
Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
*Tosses Folst the silver dagger*
Use this for now. You can return it later. Apparantly it might have hidden magical capabilities as well.
