Andronicus receives the Slayer and finds the blade light, but definitely very, very sharp. He keeps it in its sheath, no point waving it about and risk it getting damaged. The party, now mounted on fresh elven steeds, take the passage and out, where they see a fire in a distance... and a whole lot of jackals..

This is more of a checkpoint then anything else. I know the fireside party are still all in. The main party's participation seems to have dropped off a bit so this is your chance to officially grab your horse and run home before the shit hits the fan. Just let me know if you intend on continuing. I intend to reunite both parties in the next update.

Would be great if we could continue the story with people who can and will actively contribute to the story line (regular updates and role playing). This would greatly benefit the depth and vitalitt of the story.

R'rud takes first watch, and doesn't have to wait long for trouble to arrive in the form of the cries of jackals close by. The rest of the party is still sleeping. You move away from the camp and see a pack of the beasts some distance away, closing in. There seem to be about a dozen of them.

From the west, he sees several white shapes... horses! That can only mean good news!

Meanwhile..
