Re: RT Cup Season 3 - Catchup Sunday - 14th September
Just to let you know, I will not be present this coming Sunday as I will be away from my computer and enjoying the beer and cyder of Cornwall for a week.
Have fun and I look forward to reading the match reports.

No worries, when can we catch up on our match? Are you free this week or next?
Re: RT Cup Season 3 - Catchup Sunday - 14th September
As Spinx is off drowning his sorrows at having picked Halflings that leaves only one catchup game going ahead this weekend.
Would anyone like to swap and play the week 9 games instead?
That would be:
The Weird Outcasts vs SuchDodge
The Pinewood Carrions vs Team Shrek
The Orkly Ducklingz vs Da Zoggin' Gitz
If not I'll probably spectate the Elf/Goblin mashup.

I think Chaos vs Amazons should be played last, maybe even as a lone game so we can all spectate.
Re: RT Cup Season 3 - Catchup Sunday - 14th September
In that case I could play the elves instead. Although depending on the outcome of that match it might not matter too much.
What I really need is to smash some halflings in order to get the team moral back up...

After last night I'm not sure that's going to be the decider

Re: RT Cup Season 3 - Catchup Sunday - 14th September
I've already given the Ladz the weekend off, and they've buggerd off to OrcBiza muttering something about 'Aving it Large'...
I've only got the one game left, so thought it would be nice to play that at the same time as everyone else as an 'End of Season blowout'?
Not that it matters results-wise, we'll both be playing for pride more than anything else.
But, if this weekend is best to play then I can get the ladz back on the next plane, whatever state they're already in can't make any difference to how 'under par' they've been for most of the season.
When does Season 4 start anyway?

Unfortunately someone needs to sit out the last week
We really need to drum up an extra player. If you're not available this week though, that's fine and we'll go back to the original plan of a catchup week this week. Hopefully Spinx and Ident can make up their game midweek.
Season 4 won't start until all the games are played from Season 3.

Well, seen as me and La have played the most games it makes sense for one of us to be sitting out the last week, and that'll give more potential for title deciding games.
I'll get the ladz booked on the next plane home, if I do it now that gives them time to get through customs.
I'm already looking forward to Season 4....

Details please!
I'd like to be playing on the last weekend, as last place (currently occupied by me) will probably still be up for grabs. I think someone mid-table should sit out the last week for this reason.
I'm happy to play Rav's team this weekend though, sit out next week then play the undercheesers on the last day.

Doh! Reading fail on my behalf.
I guess it's notj's to lose at this point then. Even if he loses 1, he will probably still win the title on TD difference.

Re: RT Cup Season 3 - Catchup Sunday - 14th September
I lost 2-0 which I am blaming on the dice.
Rav rolled 22 D6's. He passed 17. Of the other 5...
1 was a loner roll
1 was a "failed to come back from the ko pit"
1 was a catch roll which was rerolled successfully
1 was a pass roll which was rerolled successfully
1 was a failed regeneration
Also I had one turn which I effectively skipped due to it going like this....
Ogre 1 tries to block someone. Failes bonehead. Re-rolls, fails it again. (odds of 1 in 36)
Ogre 2 tries to block someone. Fails bonehead. (odds now 1 in 216)
Ogre 3 tries to block someone. Rolls red skull/both down. (odds of 1 in 1,944)
I had one chance at scoring, but failed a 4+ pass and its reroll.
One of his touchdowns was enabled by pushing an ogre out of bounds, with a 2-dice against block (odds of 1 in 9).
Turns ended by failed block rolls.... 2 for Rav, 5 for me (total blocks rolled was similar, 31 to 37 I think).
Oh, and on the first kick-off, a rock was thrown at a snotling who got injured (I had no reserves).
