3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
R'rud, quite pleased that his plan with the jackals worked, takes a small amount of rest to recover his breath. Then he speaks to the Duchess and Uther:
The remains of these jackals will attract other, perhaps larger predators. I suggest we move out towards the elven town right away. We are in no shape for another fight like this.
(Drakon, great update! Small question: what is our current status health/mana wise? Was mana already restored when we got out of the cave? If so, current mana is 110 right? If not, mana is 30?)

Well, I must apologise for not being about - for some reason I stopped getting e-mails about this thread which is how I normally update. But I was involved in the last discussions about what to do next so it's not like I missed a lot before you started handing out points.

The jackals, 6 of them, close in...
It happened in a blur. R'rud, a very powerful Duelist in his own right, stepped forward, and before you could say "someone set me up the bomb," R'rud had set the jackals up the bomb. They lay in tattered pieces of blood and gore around him. (-10M) This impresses the duchess immensely, and she heaps praise on her 'champion and defender', totally ignoring Uther who was protecting her from harm.
The party is victorious! Do they rest or move out again? R'rud is moderately fatigued from his exertions but should be all right to march through the night if they so decide.
I take it that the main party are on their way to the ruins still?
Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
Spend your point Id

Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
I will spend it on Mana please.
And be prepared for Nym to "magically" (haha) reappear as well.

Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
Main party has arrived at the ruins. They are currently 9 days ahead of the jackal party, hence why they're getting level ups.
Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
Uther, you have nothing to add?
Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
Uther's sulking at the minute :-)
Yeah. lets move on.
Yeah. lets move on.
Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
I can't seem to update the first post for some reason??
Ruins
Andronicus lifts the key Sylvos gave him, and points it into the steaming pile of rubble before them. The key and rubble both shimmers and dissolves to reveal even more rubble, but something is different. You're not too sure what, but you're pretty sure its the huge crater in the middle of the dead elven city.
The crater leads deep underground. Andronicus senses great power deep inside, the Wyrm's nest must be within. Do you enter, or would you like to explore the ruins of the elf city to find an alternate entrance?
Desert
The party staggers through the night, arriving at Riverside by the afternoon of next morning. Tired and exhausted, you are given all honor due to guards of the duchess, and are given lodging and food, but really you just love the elven beds here. It has been days since you've had a proper bed to sleep on.
You may:
1. Remain here and wait for your fellows
2. You decide to go back to the Undercity to help evacuate more of the elves.
3. Set out for the ruins (word has reached you after the third day of your stay that the wizards are headed there)

Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
I suggest heading for the ruins to help out our party.
Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
I'd say remain here and wait.
(there's a bar at this Inn right?)
I'd try to engage the Elven guards in Drinking competitions to find out more about Sylvos.
I get the feeling he's not telling us everything.....
We can head out fully rested in the morning.

Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
"I'd prefer not to go walking through the Wyrm's front door, so maybe we should take a look around the ruins."
All of a sudden, Folst's backpack starts to wriggle. The top of the pack lifts open and the head of a very dusty, sleepy looking cat appears. "Nym! I'd almost forgotten you were there! I bet you're hungry now." Folst takes off his pack and sets it down. Nym jumps out of the pack, looks Sylvos in the eye and gives a short, loud meow. She then carefully starts cleaning herself.

Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
I guess we can split up. You can stay and investigate Sylvos. Having had three days of rest is enough for me and I am anxious to help our party.
Before I leave I would like to ask the Duchess if she can provide me with one of the elven staves.

For some reason it appears the forum is set up that no-one can edit posts after a set time has passed (unless you are a moderator). presumably this is a forum wide setting only Andon can fix.

Have I missed something? When did we get 3 days rest? I thought we had just got there this afternoon?
