3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
We've spent enough time here. Front door or bust.
Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
Set out for the ruins (word has reached you after the third day of your stay that the wizards are headed there)
I assume this means we get at least three days of rest beforehand if we decide to head for the ruins. Am I mistaken?

ahhh.
In that case will come with you.
Although,,,,,,
Uther has spent the intervening days trying to win money of the guards at cards *, and getting them drunk in drinking games with Elvish Wine - all the Time (**) fishing for information on Sylvos, who he is now very curious about. Few people can defend against Uther's mind magic.....
* Uther is not above using his powers to win at cards, he will often use voice of command on the best looking player secretly Before the game "When you have a good hand - blink 4 times", and attempt to plant the Genius idea to often bet confidently with weak hands
** Ahem - not all the time - see above.

Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
Yes R'rud, you are correct.
Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
Option 3 then, and a request for a stave.
Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
Uther will come with him, after three days of beating the Guards at Card games - he will probably need to clear off.

Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
The party is torn between searching the ruins for an alternative entrance (Sylvos), going through the entrance (Andronicus) and searching the ruins (Folst). Some agreement is yet to be made..
R'rud and Uther enjoy the hospitality of Riverside, with Uther reaping most of the spoils, winning card game after card game. They eventually receive news from Undercity refugees that the Duke is still fighting, and Sylvos (apparently Archmage of the Undercity, as Uther finds out) has ridden out with the Wizards to some elven ruins to hunt the wyrm.
R'rud requests an elven stave, to which the ruler of Riverside and the Duchess disagree with. They do however, refer you to Riverside's chief engineer, who shows him this:

Do you take it?

Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
Sure. It is rude to refuse an offered gift.
Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
Sorry, I meant we should searchthe ruins for an alternative entrance.
Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
I say we just charge into the crater and have at this flippin' wyrm. We were sent here to capture a dragon and I'll be damned if we pansy out now.
Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
The Wizards enter the darkness of the ruins into the Wyrm's nest, leaving their horses outside as the beasts refuse to go in with them. You have spent days travelling here and you hope the Wyrm is still to return home... the nest is vast, so vast that you cannot even perceive the walls. Sylvos' staff starts to emit light so that the party can see.
As the party walks deeper into the nest, which is essentially just a sea of darkness, the party finally sees a light at the end (you don't know, this place is so big) of the nest, a yellowish red light. They eventually reach it and see at first a great ball of fire suspended in the air.
The Wizards blink, and see a little dragon turning in the sphere... its an egg! The magical energies emanating from it is huge... you can easily reach out and grab it.... or destroy it.
****************************
R'rud receives an elven Boomstick... which is quite a peculiar weapon! The moment he touches it, the stick seems to hum with magical power, acknowledging its owner, imprinting his magics into it.
In addition to normal shots, you can also fire an Absorb Round, essentially an Absorb spell that doesn't require mana.
Both of you receive the greatest horses Riverside can afford, and how great it is - you arrive at the ashy ruins of a dead elf city in a single day. You see your colleagues' horses outside a giant hole, presumably the Wyrm's nest. It is now night. Do you push forward or make camp and enter at first light?
If you make camp, I will hand out your level ups. If you push forward I will do so at the end of the game day.

Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
We push forward. Our respected collegues might require our assistance.
Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
I want to cast divination, see what bad things happen if we take the egg
Re: 3 Months Later.. (Wizards)
Uther just sighs and follows R'rud down the hole
