On a slightly unrelated note, I think since we've started we have covered all races now apart from the following....
Chaos Dwarves, High Elf, Nurgle, Undead, Vampire, Chaos Pact, Slann (latter 2 in Chaos edition only). Would like to see them all at some point.

We got Daemons of Khorne instead of Chaos Pact and Slann... (GW wouldn't give them rights to Slann apparently...)

I'll post up a schedule on Friday at the latest - along with the entry stat for the cup (next person to post a random number from 1-10 will choose the stat).

The 3 extra teams is an oddity. When the BBRC were forming the rules they wanted to add these three teams in, mostly because of fluff from past editions (Lustria Croakers, the Chaos All Stars and Underworld Creepers). GW being the corporation of douche that they are declared that these teams couldn't be in the main rulebook as GW didn't make miniatures for them. So they exist in a slightly fuzzy area. In the end the fact that GW have stopped even acknowledging BB has lead to them being included as the 'Icepelt' rulebook is now the standard.

When Cyanide was planning the Chaos edition they apparently picked Underworld to add alongside Chaos Dwarves and then decided that they wanted a Khorne team. The guys designing the rules were told what models had been made and had to fit in. Not the best design process ever but on reflection, I don't think that it's a terrible roster. Why they didn't add Chaos Pact to the Chaos Edition is a wee bit baffling.

I understand that there are mods to add these teams and the missing star players to the game. These would require using the direct connection online play rather than the cyanide league system so I haven't investigated further.

7 was the number of the picking and the picked number was 7. 8 was not the picked number, nor could it be said to have been 6 unless one were counting and continued on to 7. 9 is right out.

Sorry to keep you all waiting, but with a gentle prod from Rav I've finally sorted out my entry for this season. Goodness knows one season managing goblins was quite enough. So without any further faffing around, and because my screenshot didn't work out for some reason, I'm proud to announce that this season I'll be managing the Nurgle team, Eballa. Ooh, topical!

Yay, good to have you posted up and on board! Nurgle were one of my maybes. They have a fun odd flavour imo. Dem ST4 nurgle champions are hard and foul appearance is just annoying. It's like the ogres and all their Really Stupid rolls, except you get to inflict them on the other team Glad I enver played the ogres vs Nurgle. That would be super frustrating.

Also, "Manage" is a fairly loose term when it comes to goblins :p

Rav - can you set up the league in-client so we can all get signed up to it before Sunday please?
