Surprised at the lack of draws so far. Also the league table is skewed by people's fixtures. I have 3 theoretically easier fixtures coming up and then tricker ones at the end, so even if I'm top after 5 weeks there's only so much you can read into it.

Following up from last week's great predictions (1 perfect score and 1 other correct winner :p).... here are my week 3 ones.
Pinewood Carrions 2-1 Mighty Undercheesers (one more win for the undercheesers and they will have surpassed S3's effort!)
Stagocalypse 1-3 Cangurus
Everglade Wanderers 3-1 Fables (depends how Fable's inducements work out)
Eballa 1-2 Brewers Brawlers (Mainly because I feel bad for the dwarf's rotten luck last week)
Orkly Ducklingz 2-0 The Tomb Army (The undead's baptism of fire continues, have they managed a TD yet?)

I told you already I don't make predictions, but for a single week I'll make an exception.

First up we have Pinewood Carrions vs The Mighty Undercheesers. This is a perfect example of a Good Coach vs Good Coach match. Last season Rav proved himself king of pitch control, and with a season of "development" under their belt the Undercheesers are becoming a force to be reckoned with. I'm going to predict a careful 2 - 1 win for the Undercheesers as the Shoulder Dong and stunty/two heads combination will surely cause a headache for the shambling mummies.

Next we must consider Stagocalypse vs Cangurus. Another great pair of coaches, but Stagocalypse are fresh out of the box this season. That's not to say I don't think this will be an interesting match! With all that block, the Pro Elves will have to consider more of a passing game whilst I expect the Norse will be running the ball to the end zone. I'd like to see a fast paced, high-scoring game with the Pro Elves finishing 3 - 2 ahead.

Now, the Everglade Wanderers vs Fables! is going to be top of my list of matches to watch, and not just because I have no choice! With three seasons under their belt, the Woodelves are under a lot of pressure not to lose to the still-wet-behind-the-ears Necromantic. Reliable sources tell me that Fables will have somewhere in the region of €750000 inducements, and that is a lot of money! I'd be lying if I said I wasn't hoping to knock the Wanderers off their top spot, but it will be a hard fight.

Nurgle are a team I know nothing about, so Eballa vs The Brewers Brawlers is difficult for me to predict. After last weeks game The Brawlers should have some luck in the bank, but I would be surprised if the score was more than 2 - 1 to The Brawlers. With both teams being quite slow, I don't expect a high scoring game. I do expect a lot of crumpled Rotters though.

Finally we have Orkly Ducklingz vs The Tomb Army. Whilst the ins and outs of Blood Bowl may be discussed at the coach's work place, experience counts more than anything in our relatively short two minute turns. Rumour has it that PirlOrc has been swatting up on new and exciting tactics, and this game should be an excellent chance to try them out. 2 - 1 to the Ducklinqz might sound conservative, but Orcs aren't known for their counting ability and a change from the slow bash'n'smash might take it's toll.

I love how you don't actually make a scoreline prediction for our game :p

I don't want to give too much away, but I hear Wood Elf blood is delicious, and Bigby Wolf is looking forward to marking his territory up against your treeman.

It's not about the scoreline, it's about ethics in games journalism.

The only correct winner I predicted was me ;D

Week 4 forecast...

Eballa 1-1 Fables - both teams are W1L2 having played the same 3 teams (Wood Elves, Dwarves, Norse) - so a draw is the logical prediction
Everglade Wanderers 3-1 Mighty Undercheesers - default Wood Elf prediction
Orkly Ducklingz 2-0 Brewers Brawlers - Dwarves seem consigned to poor luck
Pinewood Carrions 1-2 Stagocalypse - Norse look solid, Khemri always unlikely to score more than 1
Cangurus 3-0 The Tomb Army - an entirely different challenge for the Undead this week. Elven scoring has slowed down recently, that's sure to change at some point. Have the undead scored a TD yet?

It's my turn to win against nj so I predict 1-0 to the Carrions :)

Seriously, I now have even more damage potential so if I can block the Norse down there's a good chance that I'll build numerical supremacy. Bit of a big if though given all their block.

I'm looking forward to it.

For the rest:

Eballa 1-2 Fables - Speed will out and the WWs have targets for their claws...

Everglade Wanderers 1-1 Mighty Undercheesers - Gandalf may get caught out by La's positioning skills and David Bowie's goblin artillery :)

Orkly Ducklingz 0-1 Brewers Brawlers - I think the Brawlers are due a change of luck.

Cangurus 3-0 The Tomb Army - Got to agree with Gandalf on this one.

Percy's turn to predict, in Haiku:

Carrions 1 - 1 Stagocalypse Slow but sure dead things, Drunken mess on L o S, Slow grind bash bash score.

Eballa 1 - 3 Fables Extra doggy now, big sharp claws for rotting flesh, vomit dodging ghouls.

Tree Lickers 2 - 2 UnderCheesers Elves grind to standstill, Bowie has a shoulderdong, and the rats flourish.

'Shrooms 4 - 4 Beer Outrageous tactics, Playing under Nuffle's Sky, Favour shines on risk.

Cangurus 2 - 1 Tomb Army Starry Eyed dead things, Inducement Overload prize, Last ditch game saving.

Didn't think I'd beaten you before the last game. We had shared a couple of draws down the time, and a couple of absolutely awful losses for me. Don't remember beating you before at all....

We drew in S1, I won in S2, you won in S3. Logically it's either my turn or a draw :)

I'll give you odds of 10-1 on the Wood Elves only scoring 1.

I'm trying to decide if the lack of predictions for Wood Elf wins is due to jealousy or anti-elf racism :p

Daigaro wins best predictions though. I shall have to try and create a Limerick for next week.

I'll have a fiver on that please Mr Gandalf.

No Elf jealousy here, PirlOrc just wants an open exciting league (The Championship, League 1, etc, not the SPL or that Spanish league).

Plus I'm British, I'll always support the Underdog :))

So you predict Fables to win the league? :)

Nothing against you Gandy, I was simply impressed by La's positional play in our game, if anything's going to stop you it's going to be shutting down your options like that.

Also you're due some pain, that AV 7 has been holding way too well :)

Wouldn't that be nice! But I'm not sure how...
