I don't know. It was the very start of the second half, so could we play a single half of a new game and quit at HT? Or would we get a penalty for that?

I don't mind replaying it if you want, although maybe not tonight as my gf wouldn't be best pleased!

Unless you're free after 10:30 GMT?

EDIT: it might not be you, my internet seems to have reduced to a snail's pace tonight. Just did a speed check and I'm at 1.1mbps! Sky are getting a phone call tomorrow..

To clarify:

Andy was leading 1-0 at halftime. He arranged his players before kicking and had 12 players, I arranged my players before receiving and only had 10. I clicked "yes" on the "There are only 10 players on the field, do you confirm positioning?" then my client crashed and I couldn't reconnect.

Client now says I lost 2-0.

That would be past midnight for me... I'll probably be asleep by then.

That's true, I didn't realise I had too many players on the pitch until Idan mentioned it on chat and that's when the client crashed.

Is there precedent for a game crashing?

Fair enough, that is pretty late. Shall we see what the decision is tomorrow?

For rematch purposes, I'm busy tomorrow (band practice), Friday (friend round), Saturday (dad birthday) and the following Monday (band practice again).

I don't think a game has completely crashed like this before. It's not hard to believe though, given the other bugs the game has. Maybe seeing 12v10 confused it too much ;D

I'd suggest to recreate the first half (Idan kicks off, lets you score once) and then you can play the second half as normal?

Andy has benefited from 2 MVP awards, but I don't think there's any way around that. Nuffle has smiled on you. :)

Sucks that you're busy but you can't be blamed, as the two of you tried & failed to find a mutual date too! Guess the season will end past its aimed-for date this year. :)

Your options are:

Replay from the start - it's a pain but at least both players have the same theoretical chance as they did at the start of the first match.

Recreate the first half as well as possible like Gandalf suggested - This makes for a quicker game as you only have to play a half but won't replicate any KOs or injuries in the first half.

I have no particular preference for which you guys choose to go with so pick whichever suits both of you. If you can't agree I'll make a decision but I doubt it's necessary.

Starting the 2nd half with 1-0 seems like the best solution. Now we just need to find a date...

Half Time Report
============

The undead got a wizard and a big star player as inducements (maybe something else too, I don't know). 1 spectator turned up to watch the match. Well, one living spectator anyway. Those animated skeletons on the sidelines don't count.

The elves kicked off and it landed deep. The undead gathered around it, like maybe it was an interesting skull or something. Then they hit a few players before the undead ghoul picked it up. The elves responded by swarming towards the ball carrier & his buddies. A lot of hitting and pushing happened. The ghoul dropped the ball during all this, which left the elves with a tricky pickup - this failed and the bouncing ball was caught by a skeleton! Some more hitting happened and the undead managed to get the ball back to the ghoul. He escaped the carnage with a few buddies to protect him. However pretty soon he realised that he alone had the speed to score before the half was up. The now somewhat-depleted elves tried to get back and made it difficult for the ghoul, who needed 2 dodges to score on turn 8, and pulled it off.

The undead kicked off, and the elves hit some players to finish the half.

As the undead got ready to kick-off the second half, the universe imploded at the prospect of twelve players lining up against 10. Hopefully the universes can be reassembled at some point in the near future, so the game can continue.

PS Undead are probably my favourite animations. The Wight's capes are very cool, and I love how the skeletons take their heads off, throw them in the air and catch them again.

It's all to play for in the final week of the RTBBL! For some teams at least!

The Brewers Brawlers will tackle, block and hopefully hurt The Mighty Undercheesers who need to win to keep their title hopes alive.

Title favourites, The Everglade Wanderers need to beat The Pinewood Carrions to be sure of overall victory.

Eballa plan to cough up a win when they play The Cangurus.

The Orkly Ducklingz hope to capitalise on the faltering form of Stagocalypse who are now rank outsiders in the three way title race.

Fables face the might of The Tomb Army with both teams hoping to finish with a win.
