I'd say that Gandalf's top 3 all have a good shout. There's always that game with dodgy dice that changes everything :)

Yes I think you are the league favourite too now that Rav practically threw the title away last night.

Frankly we are still so early in the season it could be anyone in the current top six. (pretty much anyone except from the stunties and the sadly decimated Elves, I expect those teams to all get a couple of wins each though, but not be able to keep season winning form going)

That would be amazing if it happened. Team Shrek only have one win in their history (11 games I think!).

But yeah, agree it's hard to choose between the top 6 for the title. Agree that one of the other 3 could finish in the top 6, but aren't going to win the title. Saying that I am cheering on the goblins. Or what's left of them, anyway.

By the way I basically chose you a) to be different to the "Rav is going to win!" mob and b) you've won 2 out of 2.

Hmm, warbled Socracheese the Well-Known Cheeseosopher to himself, as he contemplated the rind before him and poked contemplatively at a few remaining crumbs of Wensleydale, What I think is…

Or on the other maybe rather that…

Aha! And, as it were, indeed…

Finally he came to his conclusions.

I suspect that Pinewood Carrions and Fables shall draw 1-1.

The Brewers Brawlers will also draw with the most splendid Cheeseosophers, with an agreeable score of 2-2.

The Astrogranite Apocalypse will beat the Sons of the Silver Sword 2-1.

And Suar’d of Justice shall vanquish the intoxicated yet Persistent Plan of Percy 3-1 at a heavy and grievous cost, this latter aspect delighting the crowd most particularly, nobody liking to see a one-horse race unless said one horse is severely maimed, perhaps to the point of missing a leg and an ear.

Well, I was sort of nearly right twice.

The whole BBM thing is a bit of a pain. At what point do we just make our own table?

This week I predict:

Cheeseosophers 1-2 Fables! – I imagine the sheer gap in team skills will be the difference here, and the Vampire offence is weak, and the team as a whole slower than the necromantics.

Brewers Brawlers 2-2 The Sons of the Silver Sword – this should the finest display of the elven passing game of the season. And I imagine the elves will do some passing too! Ahahahohdear sorry.

Astrogranite Apocalypse 3-0 Percy's Persistent Plan – The Violent Apocalypse were unlucky to not beat the Vampires to death I think, and I imagine that this is what they’ll do against the poor defenceless goblins.

Saur'd of Justice 3-1 Team Shrek – this should be an easy win for the league leaders but if the ogres mangle enough skinks early it could be another story. The Shreks will definitely pose the Saur’ds some tough problems to solve.

I've been considering installing this on my website http://www.nicholasmr.dk/?sec=obblm it's coded in languages I understand. But it seems a bit silly to have two records of all our information. On the plus side my website is and will be more reliable than BBM has been recently. Any thoughts?

We had a pre-season friendly and I think it finished 3-1 (it might've been 2-1) to the lizards, and it was also scene of one of the most famous moments in Team Shrek history - their only successful pass. I agree the early game will be crucial. Maybe I'll even get another pass in (from my AG3 and Strong Arm ogre).

Depends how simple it is to use, I guess. The BBM functionality is nice but useless if the website's down.

I'd say why not for next season or if BBM doesn't come back, but I for one would prefer not to reply the matches so far and upload them again. But then we'll all have to do that for last week's match anyway.

Summary - I think I'm in favour.

Matchwise - if you murder all of his skinks in the first half NJ will have problems.

Fortunately the skinks can run very fast :-)

BB Manager still down. I've browsed a couple of on-line Blood bowl forums, and none of them have mentined it being down yet.

The Website which hosts BB Manager has disappeared from google results for me in the last few days too (don't know what that means).

We should just keep a spreadsheet up to date with results for now. If BBM comes back up great - if not look at other solutions.

The best place to check for BBM updates is the Orca Cola Cup forums.

Gandalf, if you're happy to install OBBLM and give me access then I'd love to try it. Maybe we could do some experimenting?

I'll install it at some point then, for curiosity if nothing else. Bit busy at the moment though.

As for my predictions....

Cheeseosophers 2-2 Fables! – An important match between 2 of the chasing pack. Vampires cause much chaos and confusion and touchdowns aplenty ensue.

Brewers Brawlers vs. The Sons of the Silver Sword finishes 2-1 to someone – Morg'N'Thorg appears and is mobbed by half the dwarf team leaving the elves free to score. Dwarves remember they should try and score every now and then and get one back with some typical crazy passing move. A dramatic late score for someone wins the game.

Astrogranite Apocalypse 1-1 Percy's Persistent Plan – Percy chooses different dice after playing with loaded ones last week. The goblins keep dodging away from the Chaos team, and the Goblins make good use of their 1,000-ish inducements for much hilarity and sneak a draw in entertaining fashion.

Saur'd of Justice 2-1 Team Shrek – with their level-ups the Ogres put up a better fight against the lizardmen but are defeated nonetheless. They would've gotten away with it if it wasn't for those pesky skinks!

As I'm not playing this weekend - time for some predictions.

Hmmm. Not sure if my first two predictions are wistful thinking on my part or real predictions :-)
Sons of the Silver Sword to draw 1-1 with the Fables!
Cheeseophers to Draw 1-1 with the Pinewood Carrions!

The Brewers Brawlers to win 2-1 Percy's Persistent Plan. All that block and tackle proving too much for the goblins I suspect.

Astro-granite Apocalypse to beat Team Shrek 3-1 - I think the Ogre's best chances of winning will come against one of the softer teams if they get a few early injuries in. I fear the Chaos armour will hold up enough to keep them in the game versus the ogres.

We all sucked with last week's predictions. Who would've thought there would be two 4-0's?

Sons of the Silver Sword 0-2 Fables
Cheeseophers 0-1 Pinewood Carrions
Brewers Brawlers 1-1 Percy's Persistent Plan
Astro-granite Apocalypse 2-0 Team Shrek
