Gandalf's spectating review of yesterday's action
First up I watched a few turns of elves versus chaos. The Elves had Morg & Thorg, leading to some most un-elf-like play of pushing everyone clear and marching down the sideline. A lot of bashing and spilled balls ensued which was fun to watch, before the elves went 1-0 up.
Then it was over to the Goblin-Lizardmen contest, to cheer on my fellow stunties and hopefully see some fun Goblin action. The amount of bad luck the Goblins had was truly breathtaking. The funniest bit by far was the bombardier throwing a bomb, which was intercepted by a skink who threw it back, was then caught and thrown back towards the ball carrier but the skink intercepts AGAIN! It is then mis-thrown into space. If the skink hadn't intercepted it (twice) then it was poised to hit up to 6 lizardmen. The saddest bit was the Goblin's last chance to avert the first touchdown with a blitz, which failed due to a failed re-rolled GFI.
I left that game as 2-0 and went to the Khemri-Necromantic game, I watched all of it in high speed. What a brutal affair it was with some really bizarre moments that they have already covered themselves. I would agree with Rav's assessment that it was one of the most entertaining 0-0 matches I have seen.

You would've been even sadder then if you'd have seen me fail two (possibly three?) attempts at 1dice blitz's on ball carriers by being unable to dodge. With dodge.

I'm almost glad you beat me last week! Hopefully makes this loss a bit easier to bear!

Re: RT BBL S5 - League Day 2 22nd Feb
I'm on a family day out at Hatton so if someone posts the schedule it'll save me a job. If not I'll do it when I get home.

What is there to do in Hatton that you can't do in Bearley?

Just done it.
What's fascinating is (according to BBM) the goblins didn't have staggeringly bad luck with the D6 and 2D6 - with Positive probability scores (although I had clearly the better luck with both) he did far worse with the block dice though - only rolling defender down 4 times in 43 dice (ouch)

Ugh, so it appears the blinding headache that struck a few hours ago has caused me to nap through match time. Sorry Daigo. Go ahead and hit me up via Steam if you want to reschedule play the Apocalypse vs the Percy's during the week. I'm free pretty much anytime.

Roger & Wilco Wylde.
Sorry to hear about the headache, I'm sure it was no way caused by those 'Good Tidings' 'Shrooms Percy sent you last week...

So the Fables! managed their first win of the season, and it was definitely hard won. La played well once he got into it managing a shock touchdown in turn four despite having now Vampires on the field. He then proceeded to defend well, stopping me scoring in the first half. One nil down in the second half was a bit of an up hill battle for the Fables, but their plethora of skills helped then score in turn 13. As I kicked off for the final drive, the ref let the clock roll back giving la an extra turn to try for the win. The movement of the Ghouls and Werewolves on the Necromantic really came into their own, taking out Vampires on opposite sides of the field, and loosing the ball. The Fables picked up the ball and caged for a few turns in order to secure the touchdown, which they managed in turn 16.
Overall, the dice were fairly even. La rolled 115 D6 compared to my 42 whilst I rolled 97 block dice to his 33.
