BB2 Ageing

As you may or may not know, Cyanide are working on Blood Bowl 2.

They've recently revealed that they are implementing a forced Ageing rule - after every 7 games your players roll to see if they retire with the odds increasing over time. This is not in the CRP (LRB6, whatever you want to call it) and the rule is not optional for private leagues.

I was undecided about BB2 but broadly hopeful that it would improve on some of the dodgier parts of BB1 and ideally improve the Star Player provision etc. However adding new rules wholesale and not making them option drives me to not want to try it.

I agree with the idea of aging players, but not as short as 7 games... It should be a very small chance after 100 games or so, or like the old rule of once you get X amount of SSP then you start rolling for negatraits.

Other than shinier graphics and making the UI better it will be difficult to justify buying for me, until a 80% steam sale with all the teams for free.
