Obviously I'm all for it - since he's a long time RL friend of mine, and he's a true RT material. (fun, 35+ years old -> responsible, dependable and helpful)

On the other hand I can totally understand if this is to be left as an post-allegite RT refuge.

Why don't we treat this sort of situation as we would a non-RT player in Allegiance who wanted to join us?

It is still possible to play games of blood bowl with people who aren't in the RT league. If he likes us and we like him, then he can join RT and thus our league.
