Crikey they are getting close to competing with the Wood Elves for highest valued active team! Bring them back for Season 7, we can have more of a high-valued season.
Nice to see the cup has finally started. I am having a lovely time in the land of the Scots & look forwards to bringing the Ogres back for an unexpected game. RL3 can you pick a day for us please?

Okley-dokley: how about Thursday?
Re: RT BBL S5 - The Chanelf Receivers Cup
Thursday is fine. We were greatly cheered today to hear the rail strike for that day has been cancelled so we should be able to get home
As previously mentioned, it might be 8:15-8:20 ish though.
Rav - staying in Stirling. It's quite nice, for sure.

In theory, this week's games will be:
Winner of Sons of the Silver Sword/Team Shrek vs S'aurd of Justice
The Pinewood Carrions vs Winner of Astrogranite Apocalypse/Percy's Persistent Plan
But it might be another way round because the client is silly.

There is no indication that Wyld is aware this thread exists. Has anyone pinged him recently?

Gandalf, get yourself to The Greengrocer cafe and try their sharing platters. I loved the food there, and remember it being a pretty good price too (although I wasn't paying). I would definitely be heading there to eat if I was in Stirling. You can find it on Port Street, between Stirling Optical and the Stirling Family Butchers. It's down a little alley, with Frances Hunter Hair & Beauty written across the top: https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@56.11597 ... e0!6m1!1e1

Bit late for tips! We are eating in Stirling tomorrow evening but that looks more like a lunchy place. The food choice in Stirling has been less than exciting tbh, thought there would be more choice in a town this size.

Yeah, I didn't realise you were coming up my way. I'm in Glasgow. In general I find Scottish food to be less than exciting, instead they try to make you feel better by deep frying it and giving you loads. There aren't many places in Glasgow that I'm excited to go and eat at.
Stirling suffers a bit from the fact that it has the castle and monument, but other than that there's not a lot. It's a brilliant castle to go look around, but people tend to go back to where they came for food - which I guess is more likely to be Edinburgh or Glasgow.

G & E are further from the hills, we wanted somewhere a bit closer
Plus we've done E a few years back, and end up going to G every time we're in Scotland anyway (to see family).
As we are self-catering, traveling round a bit, and normally having lunch out if we are having any meal out, the lack of decent eateries in Stirling hasn't really bothered us, but I think it would've had we been doing a B&B holiday with the 2 of us (which was he norm before Baby 1.0 came along). I love haggis so as long as I can have it a couple of times during a holiday up here, I'm happy
