He even has Animosity. Do Dark Elf and High Elf count as the same race?

The category is Thrower not Pick-up-the-ball-and-scorer. A Wight can stand in the way and block people as much as he likes.

And a Dark Elf can throw the ball as much as he likes you nincompoop!!

PirlOrc, the greatest of Orc Throwers, hardly ever chucks the ball. Not all throwers throw the ball.

And I don't understand what your Dark Elf/High Elf query is all about.

Re Elves: Read the first sentence and then the second.

As for throwers...
Thrower The thrower is the quarterback of the team. Collecting the ball and delivering it to a waiting receiver.

What good is he as a thrower if there's a 1/6 chance he decides he just doesn't like the look of his own team mate?! Or 1/6 chance that he can even get the Pass skill.

Why would you think High Elf & Dark Elf to be the same race? Of course they aren't. So yes, he would have to roll for animosity if he were to do anything (ergh) with a High Elf.

Where in the rulebook does it state that 'If you have a thrower on your team you have to THROW the ball with him all the time?'

It is a 'title' giving to a type of player.

Even then, another reason I picked the Dark Elf is for the AG4, that makes him a very reliable thrower too.

They're both Dirty Elves.

It's not the Blood Bowl rules, but the rules of The Crush that you justify your choice properly. I'm just enabling that.

Plus I had a beer with my lunch and I'm feeling uppity.

You'll be telling me you enjoyed it next.

Glasgow is rubbing off on you...

Not really, the drinks of choice are Tennents or Whiskey, neither of which I like.

And I did enjoy it. I even lamented over missing the Postlip Beer Festival now that I could actually go and appreciate the stuff.

There's McEwan's Export surely? Also, are you sure you're old enough to drink?

I've never seen that.

I've been old enough to drink for eight whole years now.

To be honest, I was thinking that myself.

The underworld thrower has animosity, yet he is called a thrower.

I almost chose the dark elf renegade myself but wanted the extra MA. On an AG3 team an AG4 player can certainly fill the thrower role. I support this choice.

Well, it's a hard one this one because throwers are all expensive and all within 20k of each other (in what world a Wood Elf thrower is only 20k better than a Khemri thro-ra I don't know).

To keep costs down I'm aiming at the 70k band and for me the Norse Thrower is the most flexible as he may not have to play as a dedicated thrower on this team.
