Well, my months long voyage to the heart of the galaxy is almost over. I have seen black holes and stars beyond number. I'm currently 13.5 kly from Sol and I expect to be making a run into a safe port next week.

My Type 6 is not set up for combat or escape. I have shields but only D grade so they won't stand up to much punishment. Therefore I'm asking if some kind pilots could rustle up a combat Cobra and escort me in over the last few jumps?

I haven't picked a destination yet so I can be flexible, just let me know what suits (ideally Imperial space).

Have you pledged allegiance to any Powers? If so, stay the hell away from any home system. If you haven't, you SHOULD be fine, but I'd still go for a border system.

I could fire this game up for some sort of combat escort. Where are you headed? I can't remember where I was last.

I'm still about 5k out so I'm just generally headed back. If I play this week I should be close enough to start aiming for a target. Likely to be Imperial space, near to Chimiri, ideally a Hi Tech or industrial economy (to spend my exploration cash).

3.3 kLY to Sol so I likely won't be back this week and then I'm off on holiday for a week. So the escort will likely be 18th or 19 August. Does that suit?

I go on holiday on the 21st August, so that should be fine Do you want to pick somewhere on the fringes of "dangerous" space to meet and I'll make my way there in the mean time? I'm not tied to any particular system at the moment.

Let's meet at HIP 85273. If you get there first let me know if there's any activity that close in an we can meet a step further out if needed.

It's not too far out (relatively speaking) so it shouldn't take you long to get there.

What did you go out in? An Asp? What's your jump range? Thinking of picking up an Diamondback Scout to mess around in... if I can find one out here.
