Ok, I'm at HIP 85273 ready for the last 300 LY run home. I sent you a PM Id3 but you've logged out of the game so I guess you're in bed sensibly tonight.

Let's meet back on the 18th August and we'll get home unless anyone is free tomorrow during the day?

Ah, so even if I bring ANY guns you'll be better off. It's a shame I can't bring some modules out for you.

That's the reason for picking an industrial world - good chance of useful upgrades for the T6 even if I can't buy something more sporty.

I'm also running a very small power plant and minimal shield and thrusters so I can't even run away easily.

I also suspect my hull is pretty knackered - I've got cracks in my canopy.

Oh dear, I'll pack some Duck Tape.

I've been looking around for a Scout, but couldn't find one. Perhaps I'm looking in the wrong stations. Was visiting specifically Hi-tech or military stations.

I'm still at HIP 91805. I'm planning to see what I can do to get my Scout out that far this evening, otherwise I might have to go pick up my Cobra and do it in that.

However, I'm going on holiday on Friday, and only have today, Tuesday and Wednesday free for potential game playing. In addition we have half a game of Bloodbowl to catch up on. Adept are you about to help Rav out if I can't get there? Rav, would you rather finish our BB game or get back to civilization safely before I go on holiday?

Right Rav, I've made it to HIP 85273 (it's bright!). Got a jump range of about 19Ly and a reasonable fuel scoop in my DB Scout. I didn't see anyone more than three systems out, so I imagine we'll be fine. Investigated a weak signal source a couple of systems from us to discover wreckage and a bit of biowaste. It was more harrowing than I would have expected!

Squad game time ok with you?

Can we say SGT with a possible +30mins? I've got to cook tea from scratch tonight so I'll be wasting time chopping veggies. If I'm significantly delayed I'll let you know on here.

I've pinged a message to Adept too so hopefully we'll have a wing of 3.

I suppose I'll manage to keep jumps below 20 LY although that's hardly taxing my FSD :)

Any idea how wings jumping together works? I don't think I've ever done that part :)

Everyobe slaves theor drive to one person. When that person jumps, so does everyone else.

SGT I will actually be available today. Will need to check my loadout and do whatever upgrades are needed.

That was the best I could do without raising €1.5M for the top of the range FSD. Hell of a lot better than the 10 LY I started with...

Just take off all your guns, armour, thrusters, shields, power distributor and you'll get that range up in no time. You'd be a crap escort though... :)

Oh, looks like I need a new reactor. I CAN fight, I just have to turn off half of everything to do so. Time to track down a system that sells reactors for my Magic School Bus
