OK, so let's just get the week 8 and the catch-up fixtures done all in one big lump. These are all the fixtures to be played before the final day of the league, 30th August.
Week 8
Khorne - Chaos Dwarves - the last outing of the season for Shiny Demon & co. Can Rav turn it round after three consecutive defeats?
Lizards - Skaven - the current bottom two fight it out in a dodge-tastic match. There will be touchdowns.
Orcs - Humans... if there is a winner here then they could theoretically still take the title.

Catch-up games
Vampires - Chaos Dwarves - will the vampires be match-fit after a long hiatus?
Vampires - Nurgle - big match in the race for the title. Will it go to the final day?

Sweet.

Khorne - Chaos Dwarves - Dwarves, 2-1
Lizards - Skaven - Skaven, 3-2
Orcs - Humans - Draw, 1-1

Catch-up games
Vampires - Chaos Dwarves - They probably won't be match fit, no - Dwarves, 2-1.
Vampires - Nurgle - Is it the best attack against the best defence? I haven't looked but think it might be. Defence to win it...

Yes... you've score 10 to my 7 (with 1 less game) and you've conceded 3 to my 1 (which was in my first game of the season). It's mildly absurd that no-one else has managed to score against me - it's not like I have super-fast players skilled at getting the ball loose or anything like that. I fully expect you to score at least one.

Khorne - Chaos Dwarves - 2-1 to the dwarves
Lizards - Skaven - 2-2 draw
Orcs - Humans - I'll agree with notjarvis and go for a Human win. 2-1

Catch-up games
Vampires - Chaos Dwarves - 2-0 Vampires
Vampires - Nurgle - 1-1 Draw

Khorne - Chaos Dwarves - I'd like to hope I can win this but 1-1 is probably a good call.
Lizards - Skaven - Going to give the edge to Abom - 2-1 to the Skaven
Orcs - Humans - Orcs for a traditional 2-1 grind

Percy's been hanging with this fella all week, (a mushroom delivery got out of hand so he ended up staying for a while...) so has some good vibes for his predictions...

Khorne - Chaos Dwarves I think the frenzy will get the better of the Demons and they'll frenzy themselves down some dark alleys... Still, if the Big Bastard killed a few Bull Centaurs then that'd be lovely. Rock Lickers to win, but only just.
Lizards - Skaven Percy saw a vision - a vision of an amazingly high scoring, free-loving dodge and TD fest. 3-3 draw.
Orcs - Humans The bubble's burst, the Convicts are 'Keeping it Australian' and are plummeting on a downward curve; thank god transfers don't exist in Blood Bowl (yet...) otherwise everyone would be cooing and making loving eyes at Nil Desperandum. He's a right tart, and Italian, so I'm guessing he'd be off in a flash. Anyway, the Orc's are going to get a whopping amount of inducements and it'll all be too much for the 'Umans to cope with. 1-0 win to the Orcs, 0-1 soul sapping, no-SPP-accumulating loss to the Black Stars.

Catch-up games
Vampires - Chaos Dwarves If the Rock Licker's coach plays like he did with his last team, and Nuffle's onside, then there won't be any Vampires on the pitch to score anything. 1-0 to the Dwarves.
Vampires - Nurgle Percy's gotta go all in; if the Vamps get decimated Vs the Rock Lickers then they'll still be hurting for this match; and Papa Nurgle is smiling nicely on the festering mess of road signs at the minute; and it's hard to bet against form. 1-0 Nurgle win.

Shalom.

Red Lion, notjarvis & Raveen, don't forget to put predictions in for the catch-up games.

I will do a round-up prior to the last lot of matches, which are happening on 30th August (Rav's connection dependant).

Hmm, my previous post in this thread is not what I intended. Must have typed it in wrong. Oh well.

Vampires - Chaos Dwarves - 2-0 vampires
Vampires - Nurgle - 2-1 vampires

Yep, I think the vampires are pretty good.

Vampire to win 2-1 versus Chorfs
Vampires to beat Nurgle too 2-0 (I think Nurgle will struggle to lay a hand on the highly skilled and statted vampires)

Both the above only hold if la continues to have decent luck with his Bloodlusts......

Yeah, that's the leveller for your guys, and why I thought you would be close than Gandalf. But Barring Nuffle favouring/screwing one side excessively, The Vampires have more options for scoring......

Looking at the season statistics I'm vaguely amused by the fact that the Orcs have far more knockdowns than anyone else (more than 10 more) but I appear nowhere in the injury/killer stats.

Seems the Orcs have inherited my Chaos team's pacifist ways, and have terrible luck with injury dice :-)

Crikey. Do they have any injury skills?

Like ID's Claw/MB demon, the various MB big guys - I wonder how much difference that makes.
