A 3-0 win AND 5 level ups.

That has to be mega fever inducing. Well done squire.

Ah, the joys of being in a team who can pass and score (semi-) reliably...

Well, another night and another crash :I

We set up a new game to pick up where the last one left off and played the first half with me kicking and not buying any inducements. Id3 received and we played a rather excellent 0-0 draw after his first pickup failed and I was able to charge the bulls in. I got the ball but was unable to cage reliably (and I kept doing dumb stuff with the ball carrier) and the drive ground to a halt in the middle of the pitch.

Shiny demon killed a bull but the apothecary did his job for once.

We reached half time ready to score once each to simulate the first half from the other night and be happy but on the moment of the gong the network farted and I disconnected again.

So we tried again and just ran home a touchdown each and clicked through. This time it worked so the result is in and we got money and MVPs although Shiny Demon is owed 4 SPPs and I think I got a casualty in the first game but I might be making that up.

The game was a lot of fun with the dice swinging from side to side, some turns were mediocre at best, others were pure POWs on every roll. The technical issue is driving me nuts.

I wasn't able to get my Wifi working so I'll work on that before Sunday. I might try to reinstall BB too and see if that clears it as it seems to be related to the game more than the internet with crashes coming at half times quite regularly.

Would someone like to play a non-league team friendly on sunday to help test my connection? It's a catchup week with only Gandalf and La playing officially so in theory you're all free.

One thing to note that both time we lost connection, it was because we let the half time animations just run. Mashing Esc at half time to skip the animations seemed to allow us play the second half.

It was a lot of fun, although I was feeling under the weather for both games. Now I guess I need to look forward to the cup, as that's when I'll be playing again (provided I got in).

Crap, sorry - I don't think I can play Sunday - Tuesday as the inlaws are visiting... For some reason I didn't think I was playing this week and that it was Rav-Gandalf that weekend, so didn't post this earlier.

Sorry.

Edit - I need to try and schedule some midweek games I think to not hold everyone up, I don't I.

Hmmm OK... it's gonna be tight go fit both your games in then before next weekend. I can't do the next couple of days. I'm available Sunday-Saturday next week, but not Thursday. So that would seem to leave Wed/Fri/Sat that we can both do?

So the end of season is in sight! Everything is up for grabs, here's a little review/summary.

The title yet again is between Gandalf's Nurgles and la's Vampires. I think this is the third season that has come to this, following Season 2 (shared title) and season 4 (la winning with my wood elves second). It is likely to go down to the last day of the season but it depends on his two matches (vs Nurgle and CDWarves) prior to then.
Fighting for a top 3 spot are the humans and the orcs, who recently played out a draw, and if Rav's boys can get at least a point against the vampires then they have a chance too - which is probably the least they thought they would get after their strong start to the season.
id3 looks likely to finish 6th or 7th, and bottom spot is almost certainly going to one of the Skaven, Amazon or Lizardmen. With all teams having at least 6 points though, no manager of those teams should feel any disgrace regardless of how the last day goes, especially as they are our three newest recruits to the league.

********************************

The cup qualification looks like being everyone except Nurgles, who are just too disgusting to hit. When working it out though we need to compensate for half a missing game between Rav & myself, and the full missing match between Rav & id3. I suspect I will be well clear at the bottom though.

May I propose a rule change (for FUTURE seasons, not the current one) that the winner of the league automatically qualifies for the cup & thus gives them a chance for the double?

I second that proposed rule change.

I think I could do next Wednesday but would prefer to leave it a couple of days before I say definitely... I could possibly do this Saturday, Rav?
