That's very kind of you NJ, I mean, who DOESN'T want to see PirlOrc back on the field eh?
Let's see what goes down in the cup; Then Percy will invite Grot-Jarvis over to discuss this over a basket of 'shrooms.

So of the 6 coaches who played in Season 4 and will be playing in season 7, 3 of them are bringing back their S4 teams. It'll be just like old times! (mostly) We're just missing the Khemri, Norse & Team Werewolf.
It seems like a good season to bring the 2000+ TV wood elves back - there's likely to be lots of experienced teams in S7, as compared to S6, so I won't be playing Morg'N'Thorg every week (fireballs though are another matter).

The Khemri are staying dead for the foreseeable. I'm not sure they'll ever beat last years cup run tbh.

Hoho it's not a Sure Thing the Ducklingz will be back.
PirlOrc isn't known to be swayed by fan-dom, last I heard Percy was negotiating HARD with him over his contract demands to play another season - He's been muttering about forming a Super Team with Frank LampElf over in Amoorica; but Percy is telling about how RTBBL is going places, new media coverage, the new multi-mushroom mega deal to bring all the facilities (namely the Dugout...) bang up to date and a completely new shrines to Nuffle.
What more could he want?

Personally I think Percy should experiment with the pointy ear brigade. Just but him a couple of issues of Elf Fancier Magazine and he'll be sold on the scheme in no time.

I'm down for Season 7!
My proposal is we do Crunch (Death?) Cup rules: no team re-rolls allowed! @_@!!!
Gonna have to think about what kind of team. Teams I'm interested in playing are: my current skaven team, a goblin team, an ogre team (Team Snotling), or a pro elf team.

Well, I don't think you'll ever find Percy on an Elf team...
Mainly because it's not allowed, which is a shame.
It's unlikely I'll be bringing the 'Plan (a goblin team) back for season 7, but I WILL at some point, but if you want goblins next season Abom go ahead
Don't like the idea of no rerolls though, I'm bad enough as it is WITH them.

If anyone is interested in a tricky team that's an education, try Khemri. You will learn stuff.

That's what she said?
It would be great to see pro elves back, they're a fun team (and I'm not saying that because I want to play skaven again, I'm reasonably decided on returning to the Underworld).

Re: Season 7 Sign Up Thread?
Excellent that you'll be joining us for another season Moose
What team to play... Firstly, we try to keep it just one race per season, so no duplicates... from what's been mentioned it appears we'll have:
Chaos Dwarves
Orcs of some kind
Wood Elves
Underworld
Skaven/Goblin/Ogre
Amazons
Khorne
Maybe Humans
So there's still 14ish (!!) teams available.... Would you want to Bash or Prance? Chuck the ball or run with it? Try and play to win? Long term team development? A really hard challenge? A team to improve your skills and learn more about the game?
One thing I will say is that it will be a tougher league I think; 'Dalfs Wood Elves are seriously good (and miraculously impervious to harm), La is the best Underworld coach in the UK (official) and nearly all the other teams will have at least one season of development behind them so will be a mighty challenge for a new team whoever you pick.

Re: Season 7 Sign Up Thread?
If the answer to most/any/some of the above questions is "ER, I dunno" then I would probably suggest Percy will kill me for this Dark Elves. They are one of the most resilient elves, so shouldnt die that much, and they are elves that play the running game, so you will be able to play them a bit like you did the skinks; only with more caging. The Witch Elves might take a bit of getting used to mind.

I don't know if Dark Elves are the best choice, you might need to be more experienced to get the best out of them - but it can't hurt trying them out for a game or two to see. They are a top top team.
But Daigaro is right that it depends what you like most in playing - what did or didn't you like about the lizards?

Re: Season 7 Sign Up Thread?
I went Ogres after wood elves - a complete change in approach. I enjoyed it & it helped me learn things. So that would be my 2 cents in this discussion... choose something rather unlike what you already have played! Which I guess would mean primarily a slower team? Max movement 6 apart from 1 or 2 positionals perhaps?
Agreed on all of this. I would say 3 of my team are carrying injuries though, including Alan the amazing AV6 elf who is really there for the lolz.
So from this point of view, maybe stick with your lizardmen for another season. Depends how you think you would cope with what would probably be a lot of losses.
Re: Dark Elves. Rav managed them for a season but I don't think we really saw the best of them. I'm sure he can chip in with his experience on the topic.
