Yes good point - this was an issue last season. Everyone should try & sign up to the league before Sunday, otherwise no-one will be able to play on Sunday.

Longer explanation is that people cannot simply play "normal" matches against each other - they must be in the cup otherwise cup rules (re: overtime) will not be applied. And the fixtures in the cup cannot be created unless all teams have been added.
