Re: Season 6 Prediction Thread of Foretelling
How you planning to score more than the Amazons then, eh, Rav? Eh? Eh?
Dwarves to win.
Dwarves to win.
Re: Season 6 Prediction Thread of Foretelling
Essentially, and this might be giving away too much, but basically I plan to murderise them all to death and then run in the ball with a Centaur or Hobgob.
Re: Season 6 Prediction Thread of Foretelling
I'm obviously going for a CDwarf win.
Now for some feedback... do people like that I've been keeping track of predictions? Or has it taken the fun out of things? I'm happy to do it next season, if people want me to.

Thanks G, big vote of confidence right there. Where is the romance of the cup? The plucky underdog rising to the occasion (assisted by 3 pitch invasions and 2 rocks), battling bravely through to score the winning touchdown in the final seconds and reap the undying adulation of the crowd?
My money's on a draw.

Er I do like it, but I don't always predict with 100% concentration, is my disclaimer.

Obviously I've given over my predictions to Percy, but he enjoy's seeing how much he get's wrong.
And keeping track of them usually means it reminds him to make some more.

Completely forgot to Give a Prediction.
I predict Red Lion to win.

I've really liked it, and not just because I came out on top. If I had a choice I'd include predicted scores too but anything adds to the fun of the season. Thanks for keeping track!

***********FINAL SEASON 7 PREDICTIONS***********
All hail Raveen has another title to add to his collection!
Raveen: 20 (3)
notj: 19 (4)
RL3: 17 (4) with 1 week missing
Percy : 16 (4)
la : 15 (3)
Gandalf : 14 (3)
Cup scores in brackets - shows we had a fairly unperdictable cup overall. If notj had gone for a Dworf victory in the final it would've been a tie! Ultimately Red Lion 3's bold prediction of a draw (in a match where a draw was not possible by the rules) proved not to matter. He was clearly showboating after achieving a fantastic 3rd place despite missing a week early on in the season. And my position shows the lengths I am willing to go to to show I am not corrupt (or am I saving the corruption for next year???? dum dum DUM).
Thanks for the positive feedback. I have set up a google sheet for season 7 and will share it round in the season 7 prediction thread, whenever that starts (presumably once the initial fixtures are out). That way you can more easily spot my mistakes, and I will hopefully make less of them in the first place.
Personally I like the banter here, rather than the super-official alternative of having a prediction website set up for it a-la Rugby World Cup where you just put numbers in on a page, and that's it...

pfft.
I was playing for the win in the prediction league, and the only way to win was to predict what Rav. didn't.....

It wouldn't be Blood Bowl without a little corruption. Get on it Gandalf!

I like it - perhaps it could benefit from a scoreboard?

PirlOrc has had a stern word with the Black Orcs, and they have also been blessed by a Nigerian shaman to be more reslient than halflings this season...
Speaking of which, Percy didn't have enough room on the picture for your entire balfling team in the dead and injured box...
