That is indeed me!

I'm not currently in Chimiri - I'm off running rares but that's so boring that I don't think I'll be sticking to it. I'll be heading back to get back to working on my Imperial rank later this week, once I've upgraded my Cobra.

You'll want to head to Rigeaux Ring or Cerulli Station if you want an imperial port.

THe local black market is a couple of systems over in T'iensi (sp?) at the splendidly named Love Ring. It's a long way out though so you might want to look elsewhere if piracy is your bag. Oh and be wary of missions to Yakama, the station there's a long way too.

PS. If we had an Elite forum we could keep contact details in a separate thread :)

(Yes, Andon, this is a request for an Elite forum :) )

Adept should get his other Elite friends over here too.

Thanks for the local info. I'll probably stick to bounty hunting to start - perhaps persuing a life of piracy in the local Federal systems. Although I'll have to see how bored I get of the run to the black market.

So the Wings update is live and I'll be in the Stanmark system shooting up pirates for fun and profit in my tricked out Cobra as part of the community event there, hit me up if you want to fly as wing.

I believe you mean Tanmark. I'm still there, as well.

Yeah, I'm shit at system names when I don't have the map open in front of me. Daigo just buzzed me to play our BB catchup match in about an hour from this post, and as I'm about to eat here it'll likely be two hours before I'll be in-game.

I'll try to make that happen. It will take a while though, as Spyball & myself are going on a spring vacation now.

Black market profits have been increased a lot, and co-op play worked really well when I tried it with Myotis (@SF back in Allegiance, you may remember).

Remember commanders, when you are going to destroy a ship, make sure to "open" the cargo hatch to see what they carry. I've rescued a lot of unfortunate slaves like that. Granted, one time I was clumsy and bumped the fragile capsule a little hard.... but the others have lived.

PS. 12k+ for Imperial slaves, 8k+ for unregulated ones. That is pure black market profit for your good deed, free of taxes as long as you don't get cargo scanned with them on board.

Because selling slaves to black market operators is a morally good thing to do? I'm sure they lead long and happy lives...

If I was given the option, I'd free the bastards. I meant it's a bonus for doing the moral thing and not letting them blow up with the wanted slaver's ship, nor leaving them to die in vacuum.

I don't know - death might be more moral than whatever the slavers do to them.

When there's life, there's hope. I've rescued plenty of Imperial slaves as well. Aren't you guys always telling me that their lot isn't as bad as all that? Surely they are least prefer to live.

I also work for the underground railroad when I can, and free slaves in Liberal Federal stations. Of course my character is a little naive there. I still in general buy them to free them, so the slavers still get their credits. It's a dirty old world.

Now there's a reminder form the good old days. I hope Frontier put more effort into making slavery and slave trading more morally complicated. I dislike the fact that they are for the most part just a commodity right now.

There's an objective for you - instead of piracy, actively seek out slavers and free their slaves in the liberal federation stations.
