Defined Roles

As Planetside has the CERT-Buy system its much better to specialize. So we need people to Spec into different infantry and vehicle/aircraft things.

I already invested alot into medic and feeling fine with it.

Actually Roleset:
xJammer - Pilot (Liberator?) + Mechanic
Andon - Pilot ( ? ) + Mechanic
FazzBumm - Pilot (Vanguard) + Medic
Koln - Heavy Assault
Adept - Pilot (?) + Light Assault
Bahamutz - Infiltrator
Mordechaj - Infiltrator
Solarflux - Infiltrator + Engineer
Identity - Pilot (Sunderer) + Engineer/Heavy Assault

If I can ever get it to go higher than 6 FPS, I'm definitely a vehicle whore, so engineer for me.

You should talk to xJammer about that. He also plays it at low fps and is still useful by flying and driving things.
Also he might be able to help u overclocking for some more fps ...

My graphics card is a REALLY shitty intel itegrated thingy (Laptop). I'm considering buying a desktop at some point in the future, so that I can actually play some of these games without terrrrribad FPS

I am heavy assault. The damage output and durability totally fits my lately style of not giving a shit. Also, rockets.

I've put most of my certs into Light Assault. I also have some in the attack helicopter / fighter thingy, but joystick piloting is horrible so far. The controls are so badly implemented  :'(

I heard some about that during the beta as well Adept, but I barely fly so maybe you can tell me. What's the actual problem with the controls?

The deadzone set to zero is still really big. There is no way to set the response curve to quadratic like in Alleigance, so fine control is almost impossible. The plane's ability to yaw is pathetically slow, so you have to roll and pull to turn the nose towards anything, and flying like that it's almost impossible to keep a fixed gun on target.

It's all messed up.

I think the roll thing is intended, to make it look more like a plane ^^. Apart from that, it seems like they just didn't put much work on it :).

Got infiltrator and engineer certed up pretty far. Got bouncing betty's for both. Got a rebel handgun with silencer too.

Ok, I thought it needs some stuff to unlock it's anti-air potential.

I'm considering putting some money into the game and unlocking the Lightnings AA-gun, because the enemy Scythes are so maddeningly annoying. If I do that, I could be our dedicated sky-guard.
